A Volvo FH12 in Kassel was suffering from gearbox damage, so we towed it to our workshop in the Autowelt GmbH near 97618 Niederlauer for an overhaul. We removed the AT2812 automated gearbox from the Volvo, dissassembled it, identified the faulty parts and ordered their replacements. The worn clutchdisc was replaced, the defective synchroniser rings were changed and new bearings were installed. After reneweing the porous seals, we closed and tightened the gearbox housing and reattached the gearbox to the engine, before reconnecting the shift rod and cardan shaft as well. Finally, we took the Volvo for a test drive with its now overhauled gearbox and delivered it back to its owner.
