Repair of a low-frame Nooteboom trailer near Würzburg in Germany.
A carrier from the Ukraine suffered a breakdown, caused by the air system of their Nooteboom trailer, while driving in northern Bavaria, Germany. Having found the international helpline number on the internet, the truck owner called the AWHelp24 office. As the truck with the semi-trailer was not loaded and could move on its own, the owner was advised to go to the nearest partner service point. After inspecting the trailer, it turned out that the pneumatic suspension was out of order. The steel support plate which it was attached to also failed. The problem was, that it was impossible to buy the plate as a spare part from any dealer, including the trailer manufacturer. Eventually mechanics from Autowelt GmbH, who were ordered by the AWHELP24 operators to do the repair, built the part themselves with a lathe and a milling machine.
