Yesterday, the driver of a Mercedes Benz Actros truck started having electrical problems on the A7 motorway near Schleswig, when he stopped to take a look at the batteries. When he did so, the rear battery exploded, dousing the driver with acid. He was taken to the hospital. Fortunately there were no serious injuries and he returned to his vehicle the same day.
