AWHelp24 received a call from a driver in the Ukraine. The gearbox of
the Iveco Daily broke down right on the A2 motorway in Germany.
AWHelp24's international haulier assistance operator ascertained the
problem and promptly arranged for the Iveco Daily to be transported to
the nearest AWHelp24 service station. Within half an hour, the vehicle
could be evacuated from the motorway.
The mechanics at the AWHelp24 service carried out diagnostics,
disassembled the gearbox and rectified the problem. The 1st and 2nd
gear clutches, shift forks, a set of bearings and a set of synchromesh
rings were replaced.
The owner of the Iveco Daily was satisfied and didn't have to replace
the gearbox.
