Fines that many drivers don't know about.

Any international driver who has been in the cab of his truck for a long time wants to make it more comfortable and cozy. However, many drivers are unaware, that this can lead to a large fine on European roads. In Germany, the use of any kind of radar control is prohibited. DVRs with built-in radars are also prohibited. A large number of drivers from Eastern Europe do not know this and are genuinely surprised when the police starts issuing a fines. In an attempt to make the interior of the truck cabin more homely, drivers use flags, curtains, nameplates and other novelty items. Drivers are also often times caught watching TV series or films while driving. All this can not only provoke accidents, but may also lead to questions from the police and transport inspection. A large fine can be caused by any addition to the drivers cabin, for example, a seemingly harmless shelf that wasn´t there the design of the cab. Some drivers are lucky and get off with small fines, but the information department of the AWHelp24 international service strongly advises to abandon all optional, decorative elements in the drivers cab and study the laws of the countries before traveling.
